Mini Melodies not only encourages learning, stimulation and development, but also supports the strengthening of relationships between parent/carer and their child/children. Everyone is encouraged to explore their own creativity through the many opportunities made available within each session and this all takes place within a safe and controlled environment. |

Babies develop very fast, so it is never too early to start singing to your little one. If you haven't the confidence or are a bit self conscious then Mini Melodies is a great way to start. The benefits really are truly amazing.
The Toddlers and Movers learning skills are all based around Singing, Listening, Movement and Creativity.
Singing focuses on fun, educational songs and rhymes and supports key areas within the literacy and numeracy strategy (as part of the National Curriculum).
Listening enhances concentration skills and also enables the children to learn how to relax.
Movement is paramount in many of the songs through actions, and also through the playing of body percussion and instruments - and the toddlers are always keen to get up and dance!
Creativity is the overall key to all of the above, and vital for children to begin to develop their own understanding of music. This might take place through them simply "finding their voice" or choosing a particular instrument to compose their own piece of work.
Every child is allowed to develop at his or her own pace and no parent or carer should be upset if they see their toddler (or baby) just watching. This is a natural and important stage in their early development and believe me the wait is worthwhile!
